Technology Helps Wells Produce
As discussed on the previous slide, a "frac"
leaves a highly permeable path for oil and natural gas
to flow from the producing formation to the wellbore.
The producing formation in this slide is the second
from the bottom. The "frac" is the tan or
brown sand ellipse. The path from the frac can be 20
times or more conductive to oil and natural gas flow
than the original formation without a frac.
